How to Shop at Toa

It's easier than you think. Here's all you need to know before you come in.

Find Your 車検証 (Shakken-sho)

Your 車検証 (vehicle registration certificate) is a white A4 document kept in your car's glove box. It contains your car's exact model code, engine type, year and spec — everything we need to find the right part.

If you have it with you, we can identify any part precisely, even without knowing the English name of the part.

💡 Tip: It's the white document in your glove box, probably in a clear plastic sleeve.

Come to the Store (During Business Hours)

We're on National Route 12, Shintoku 2-ku, Bibai City. Easy to find — look for the big blue building with 東亜 on the wall.

You can walk in during opening hours — no appointment needed.

Hand over your 車検証 and point to the part you need (on the car, or show us a photo). You can also say the part name — even in English, we'll do our best to understand.

What is a 車検証 (Shakken-sho)?

It's the official vehicle registration certificate issued by the Japanese government. Every registered vehicle in Japan has one. It's kept in the glove box, usually in a clear plastic sleeve alongside your 自賠責保険証 (compulsory insurance certificate).

The document lists your vehicle's chassis number, engine code, model year, fuel type, and weight class — all the information needed to identify compatible parts precisely.

  • 1Open your glove box and take out the 車検証 — it's white, A4 size.
  • 2Bring it into the store and show it to our staff.
  • 3We'll use it to look up the exact part code for your vehicle.
  • 4No need to know the Japanese name of the part — we'll figure it out together.
